Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of Caspi and outline our mutual rights and responsibilities.
Welcome to Caspi. Caspi is operated by Garcini Media Inc. ("Garcini Media," "we," "our," "us"), a company incorporated in the Province of Québec, Canada. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Caspi desktop application, website (caspi.io) and related services (the "Services"). By using Caspi, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Caspi is a copilot that transcribes your meetings in real time and helps you recap, ask questions, and turn conversations into action items in your connected tools. Caspi assists you - it does not replace your judgment. You are responsible for reviewing and approving anything it drafts before it is sent or created.
2. License to use Caspi
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Caspi for your own personal or internal business purposes. This license ends if you stop using the Services or if we terminate your access as described below.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Caspi. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and, if you are using Caspi on behalf of an organization, that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use Caspi only where you are permitted to record or transcribe the conversation, and comply with the consent and recording laws that apply to you.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Do not use Caspi for anything unlawful or to infringe the rights of others.
5. Accounts & plans
Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans renew automatically for the same billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing legal@caspi.io; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and access continues until then. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Connected tools
When you connect a third-party tool, you authorize Caspi to read and write data on your behalf as needed to deliver the features you use. Your use of those tools remains subject to their own terms.
7. Intellectual property
Caspi, including its software, design, trademarks and content, is owned by Garcini Media Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. Your meeting content remains yours.
8. Termination
You may stop using Caspi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or if required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination - including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability - remain in effect afterwards.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of Garcini Media Inc. arising from or related to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
10. Governing law & disputes
Garcini Media Inc. is incorporated in the Province of Québec, Canada. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the competent courts of Québec, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as Caspi evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you - such as by email or in-app notice - before they take effect. Continuing to use Caspi after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
